disciplines of equestrian sport--showjumping, dressage, and 3 day.

In addition to his best showjumping success, Noble Champion,
Noble Roi
has presented a number of top Verden and Vechta auction horses. He has
moreover presented a total of 21 top auction horses for the exclusive PSI
Auctions of Uli Kasselmann and Paul Schockemöhle which were sold for
an
average price of DM 125,000. And, he has produced two other licensed
sonsNintendo and Noble Boy. Further, in his first
warmblood foal crop,
Noble Roi scored the rare 9.0 for his 29 foals as 25 were
awarded the status of Premium Foal.
The sire of Noble Roi, Windwurf xx, was one of the
great European
racehorses of the seventies-Racehorse of the Year 1976 and Year 1977,
winner of the Preis von Europa in 1975 and 1976, Grosser Preis von
Nordrhein-Westfalen in 1976 and 1977, Grosser Preis von Baden in 1977,
and total stakes of more than 1.3 million DM, with a handicap of 101.5kg.
As a source of improving blood in the warmblood breeding industry he also
sired 5 graded sons including Kaiserjager xx, New Wonder
xx and Rio Grande xx.
Through his outstanding dam Nagaika
xx (by the Nearco xx son, Chief), he also has a full
brother Nouveau Roi xx, who has a graded son Napoleon
G, a half-brother Narew xx who sired a further three graded
sons and a half-sister Night Blue xx who produced the two graded
stallions New Moon xx and New Wonder xx who look as
though they will continue the line once again.

Dam: Figarella (Figaro / Seerose II by Apollo xx)
The dam of Noble Champion, the Stats Premium mare
Figarella, is by the
last great modern day Oldenburg foundation sire,
Figaro. Figaro was a lifetime legend in
the modern Oldenburg breed and was sired by the
Anglo-Norman Futuro by the great Furioso xx who also sired
Furioso II, a
stallion who had a dramatic impact on both the Oldenburg and Hanoverian
breeds. The chestnut Figaro was born in 1972, named Oldenburg
Champion
Stallion in 1976, and died in 2000 at the age of 28. The current total of
his progeny winnings to date is over DM 1,150,000.

|
Figaro was also the sire of Grand Prix showjumpers Figaro's
Boy and
Virtual Village Flower III, as well as the dam sire of Grand
Prix dressage horses Aleppo
(Argentinus/Figaro) and Ranier
(Rolando/Figaro). Figaro sired multiple
Bundeschampionat winners such as
Figaro's Lady, who later sold at the Vechta auction for DM
100,000. Figaro sired 5 approved sons, including
Filigran and Fighting Lion and 228 registered
broodmares, of which 46 received Stats Premium
status. As a result he has a current BLUP for showjumping of 137 which is
very good for a stallion born almost 30 years ago and whose progeny
mainly competed in the mid-1980s when prize money was much less than it
is now.
The next generation in Figarella's pedigree provides the input
of the
Thoroughbred stallion Apollo xx by Panaslipper xx. It
is this unique combination of thoroughbred blood (Noble Roi xx
and Apollo xx), with a mixture of French blood through
Futuro, that makes Noble
Champion the elegant, thoroughly modern type he is and gives him the
scopey jump, super paces and great temperament for which he is noted and
for which he has a proven reputation for passing on.
